When it comes to Heat and Moisture Exchange Systems (HMEs),
InHealth Technologies gives you cost-effective options
At InHealth Technologies, patients come first. That's why we offer multiple HME options that are designed with cost—and the patient—in mind. In fact, many of our HMEs may cost 50% less over a year than items offered by competing companies!
An HME system has two primary components: the baseplate and an HME cassette. The baseplate provides a foundation to secure the HME cassette. The HME cassette, working together with the baseplate, provides warm, humidified, and filtered air to the pulmonary system. InHealth Technologies has disposable and reusable HME options to meet the individual needs of patients. The reusable housings can be particularly cost-effective.
Take a look at all of your options:
Blom-Singer® HumidiFilter® Holder: This reusable HME cassette requires only changing the foam filter rather than replacing the entire cassette. (HumidiFilter Foam Filters sold separately.)
Blom-Singer® Hands-free Adjustable Tracheostoma Valve (ATSV II): This hands-free valve attaches into the baseplate to eliminate the need to cover the stoma to produce tracheoesophageal (TE) voice. The valve comes with a replaceable foam HME, which helps lower costs over time.
Blom-Singer® reusable, flexible housings and adhesive discs: The reusable, flexible baseplates use a double-sided adhesive disc to attach to the tracheostoma. These items provide a stable baseplate/housing with only the adhesive discs to replace, resulting in less out-of-pocket expense.
