Medicare Update:
It is with great pleasure that we finally
have the opportunity to inform you that we have successfully
resolved the problems with Medicare and our Medicare Supplier account.
Medicare reactivated our account as of February 14, 2005 and has agreed
to make the effective date retroactive to original deactivation
date of September 20, 2004. As a result, Medicare has assured
us that all purchases made since September 20, 2004 may be submitted
and will qualify for reimbursement. Since Medicare processes claims
regionally, they have indicated that it can take
up to 48 hours for each region's system to receive the updated information. Therefore
we are contacting each region by phone to verify that their system
is showing our account active with an effective date of September
20, 2004. As soon as all systems are updated with the correct
information we will begin submitting claims. All of us at InHealth
realize how important your reimbursement checks are to you and there
has been no higher priority for our organization than to resolve this
matter as quickly as possible. We know it has been a slow and
extremely frustrating process for everyone involved, and we thank
you for the patience and support you have shown over the last four
months.
