Professional Series Webinar: Survivorship in Total Laryngectomy

Surviving cancer is an enormous victory, but the battle does not often stop once the patient is declared disease-free, especially for the laryngectomy patient. Understanding survivorship involves consideration beyond the cancer diagnosis. This one-hour, live interactive webinar will focus on survivorship in the laryngectomy population, with specific discussion dedicated to psychological impact, employment difficulties, and financial burden as a direct result of surviving cancer and its treatment. Strategies to fulfill unmet needs will also be discussed.

The participant will be able to:

  • Discuss survivorship in the laryngectomy population
  • Identify strategies to reduce financial burden of laryngectomy patients
  • Define and discuss the use of supportive care plans in laryngectomy care
